On May 7th, we
commemorated once again World AIDS Orphans’ Day. On this occasion, our host was
the Francisco Echamendi Elementary School from Colonia El Angel, in Nueva
Andalucía. For the first time ever and since the school includes a nursery,
there were children as from 18 month old participating in the event.
One of the pupils spoke about NO DISCRIMINATION which was the subject of a
previous learning process via the comic Anita and a Prevention Workshop given by
our psychologist Paki Cantudo to the students of class 6.
Concordia wishes to thank Mrs. Carmen Díaz, City Council for Culture, for
attending the commemoration, and Mrs. Noelia Bañasco Montero, the school’s
principal, and her entire staff for the warm reception they gave us. . And of
course, a great thank you to the protagonists of the day, the CHILDREN!
THANK YOU ALL FOR SHARING WITH US THIS DAY.
